Looks like early rear undercarriage to me... thought later types had Mistrand anti-shimmy tyres ....?

I was in discussion with a very old gentleman only this week regarding the Russian Stirling .He told me he has paperwork concerning at least one of the loan aircraft...it was scrapped after the war .....according to his paperwork.

They are Sunderland rudder pedals which have longer mounting stems than those of the Stirling.

I took this picture at what I believe was the only public viewing..probably why there is not a lot of info on it.It was recovered from the crash site of WELLINGTON L7775 in 1983 and restored over a great many years by Restorations Unlimited headed by Clive Leach...

f thought these might help James,they're from some course notes of R.A.M. Thompson who was on the flight engineers course at St. Athan in 1942. I realise they are not accurate drawings..but.. They do show the colour of the fixtures!!!!
