thanks for that Alan, yeah I'd googled for tucano markings but most links seemed to be about 76sqn R that was disbanded in 2011.
They were going some, banking n yanking coming off of a turning point on a low level nav ex/formation trip in the hills where I live.

Tucano with 76 sqn markings still in service?

I've just had a low flypast of x2 tucano's in the standard black with yellow flash markings but the lead one had what looked like MP sqn codes, but said sqn disbanded back in 2011.
Have they reformed or just left the markings on?

I've just read the book, tis a good insight into inhouse resistence/colaboration/capture issues and some of the feelings and issues the families of those MIA, go through. Shame there isn't more on life around the station in it, I lived in the area and did a little stint of gliding from Gransden lodg...
