Hi Paul, I believe my Grandfather was at Mildenhall at the same time as your Father. He was also a tail gunner. My Grandfather’s name was Sgt. Henry Taylor Ford. He was an American on loan from the 8th AF to RAF Bomber Command. He was from Oklahoma and I believe his nickname in 15 Squadron was “Okie...
