.....Pssst! The tail plane is made up of modified Stirling rudders. Not sure if the 4 bladed props are off a later mk of Halifax? One of the aerials is from a Wellington.

Thanks Alan ;) ....that explains it. Looks like the seller has confused the 1000 bomber raids of 1942 with raids carried out much later. If it is a late war log book & medal group, the airman would not have been entitled to the Aircrew Europe star. John,....some info regarding issue of ACE stars...
