Re: Italeri Short Stirling

Mark, I'm sure, should you decide, that you could build a great example of the model. Have you or any other member come across the Handley Page Halifax Mk.III 6042 Fonderie Miniature 1:48 scale model? I've tried looking for one for several years now but to no avail. If anyone finds any news about an...

Re: Italeri Short Stirling

Congratulations on a perfect model, Mark.
Faultless really.
Hope we see more.
If you really want a challenge, try the injection blow mould 1:48 Sanger Short Stirling scale.

Re: Plates to suit

Evening Kerry,
Nice to hear from you and hope you both are keeping well.

I've had a few onlookers make comment when l'm out & about in my travels.
Always proud to say that dad was aircrew.

Re: Plates to suit

Thanks Mark, l appreciate your comments. Yes, they do cost more. Even though they are in the standard number & letter configuration, they still hit you for extra dollars because l requested the run of numbers & letters. Standard plates start about $90, these were $475 with no further fees in the fut...

Plates to suit

Here in Oz, car number plates come in many forms of lettering and numbers but the stardard plates tend to have, 3 numbers with 3 letters. I did a search and found that l could get my fathers squadron, even with the correct squadron colours of red & black. Happy days! 35C8EFA0-A272-453D-916A-DAC2B18F...

Re: The sad demise of the forums

Agreed with the comments. As most will know, l've spent a number of years researching bomber command but about two years ago, between work and health issues, not to mention a drain on my time, l took an enforced break from researching & finding details for people, who don't really appreciate the eff...

Re: 630 Sqdn website

Thanks Douglas for the kind words. I use to have many dealings with P.Gregg but he closed the forum out of the blue and never returned my calls, etc. As many would know, l too have been away for some time but will try to assist with queries, especially from 630 squadron, my fathers squadron.
