I'm researching Bertram Thomas Elwell born 1896 He likely served in army in WW1 service number M2/264400 but appears in London Gazette post WW2 as Pilot Officer until 1960 service number 206245. Although 4 KOSB died the crew all survived the crash and we've contacted the navigator. Pilot Atkinson emigrated to Canada. 196 Squadron W/Os Ferry & Harvey
The crew of LK147 KIA when it crashed in May 1945 usually flew together.
However on two ocassions the W/O David Welch did not fly.
4th May 1945 W/O was F/L D.F?. FERRY
4th November 1944 W/O was F/S J. HARVEY who also flew with pilot F.A. BROWN
Any further information on FERRY or HARVEY please?

The Gardens website implies public access to the outside area only and open about once a month.
Are the photographs in a private house on the site?
