190 Squadron crew fate ?

Gents, Just started some research into the following crew, I am aware of what happened to the skipper, but interested in the remaining crew, 38 Group is not my area of research. Can anyone with a interest in 190 Squadron confirm if the crew survived their time with 190 Squadron, and where they were ...

Hi all, Looking for a photo of the former pilot. Served with 218 flying Wellingtons in 1941, awarded a DFC on completion of his tour. Returned to 218 in early 1943 and started second tour on Stirlings. On August 7th 1943 was posted as a flight commander to the No.620 Squadron. He was shot down and m...

Re: Coloured Images of the RAF & Luftwaffe.

Hi,

Following on from Richards post on 156 Squadron, I would strongly recommend "They Led The Way ~ The Story of Pathfinder Squadron 156 By Michael P Wadsworth" a very good book.
Cheers

Re: Help Needed

Gents, Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. Jill is back in hospital and I am basically there all day every day. I have taken the step of hiring a professional proof reader who will at the very least change my dodgy grammar and spelling mistakes, which are numerous. Not cheap but it will...

Help Needed

Gents, I am in the need for help, but not in the usual way. As you may know my book on 218 is to be published in April, however I have a problem. I have been asked to do a final edit on the book as a matter of urgency to meet the deadline. Unfortunately my partner Jill has cancer and is currently re...
