Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 28

My God, that Zwilling was a weird looking monster, and must have been a production nightmare to assemble.

Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 30

Well done to AlanW and Bob, yes, it is the 'that Heinkel' again, sent in by Gate1. You know me, always looking to throw the occasional curve ball. Alex,

Your were spot on, as it shows the aircraft in my book and the tail section is unique to that type of aircraft.

The book:-' Famous Bombers of the Second World War' 4th Impression (1962) William Green.

Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge N0.31

I think it looks very much like a Armstrong Whitley Prototype, and maybe the A.W.23. Similar to the one in my book.

Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 30

Hi Bob, It's got 5 engines, and they've tried to catch us out by showing the Heinkel 111 Z-! again, but not the same aircraft as before. Look closely and you can see the tail planes on both sides, and the 3 middle props! Hi Alan, I have been looking at a photo of a HEIII Z today in a 1959 book, and...

Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 29

I think it could be a Junkers JU 87 V4. (Prototype) Or a JU 87 A-1, due to the turned up wings.
