Hi John,

I also agree. All the logbooks I've seen started at the very first minute of the aerial career. That's why some airmen had at least two logbooks during WWII to write all.

Hi Steve,

Wing Commander D D Rogers took command of 214 Squadron in August 1944 until March 1945 when Wing Commander R.L. Bowles took over.
I looked in my files and 214 Squadron is the only Bomber Command Squadron that Wing Commander D D Rogers commanded.
