Re: Looking for information on Stirling Aircraft & Crews ?
Hi Gareth and welcome to the forum.
Your query is proving to be quite a challenge. I have sourced 'Chorleys' Roll of Honour' volume 9, which lists all service personnel who lost their lives from 1939-47 and have come up blank. I will perserve and report back.
Regards,
John

Re: R A Cruikshank - 7 Squadron Stirling crew help needed.
Hi Ian,
The only details that I've found so far, come from 'The Stirling Story' by Micheal JF Bowyer, page 61 ......
Footnote - This book seems to have more details and photos on 7 Sqn, then any other, it would be a must
you Ian if you don't already have it.
Regards,
John

Re: Shrapnel Heights 9 September 1944
Hi Mary,
Many thanks for your 'post'.
I've had a quick look for Stirlings and other aircraft, lost on that date but I'm unable to offer any details, so far.
Is there any further information that you can offer? Like, a crew members name ? Squadron number maybe?
I await your reply.
Regards,
John
