The Hampden was of course not very user friendly. Am I correct that the crew could not fraternise - that is the Gunner for example could not get to the pilot if he were injured. Could the Wop?
Thus in the crash you have described how easily could the Nav/BA get out of the nose area?

Gentlemen, can we be more accurate when referring to the '109, or indeed any other machines from that rather elite stable please. As (on this rare occassion) Max correctly says , it is Bf109, and not Me. And Max - a contradiction?? Roughly equivalent to a squadron but much bigger Do try harder. MODE...

Yes, of course. The parts are fairly robust - perhaps not quite as "thick" as some of the well known names -Tam Revell Airfix etc. but sturdy enough, certainly, with which to work. It will be necessary I think to reinforce the wings with spars because of the overall size - more to prevent ...
