That's amazing work, Tim. I didn't realize their size until I saw your hand in one during the video. They seem much larger due to the incredible detail.
What's the plan with the Wellington once finished?

Mark

That's a nice detail touch to the interior. It's a good thing you caught the corrections now, before the clear nose piece went on!

Re: 299 Squadron Stirling Build - Arnhem
Thanks Guy, and some outstanding work on your part. I especially like the look of the undercarriage. It gave me fits when I built the Italeri Stirling a couple three years ago, especially since it had to be installed early in the building process.

Re: 299 Squadron Stirling Build - Arnhem
It's looking great, Guy. As Ed mentioned last year, your old photos aren't showing so if you get the chance to re-post them, it would be much appreciated. I joined this forum many years after your initial posts and have just caught up with them. My belated condolences on your losses, but it sounds l...

Re: The Stirling Aircraft Project Update
Hi John, Sorry for the delay. While I'm sure there's a way to get the whole newsletter on here from the format I have on my computer, I haven't figured it out. So here's the meat of the text, copied and pasted. Unfortunately it doesn't have the accompanying photographs. Flight Deck The flight deck f...

Re: Italeri Short Stirling
John, I just checked eBay and found one currently being bid on. Unfortunately for you, it appears the seller only ships to the mainland US: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fonderie-Miniature-1-48-Scale-Handley-Page-Halifax-MkIII/323742723954?hash=item4b6091ef72:g:q8AAAOSwysBcj~t0&frcectupt=true#shpCntId

Re: Short Stirling Sanger 1:48 scale Kit - Build
That's one amazing build you did, John! I have heard that Sanger kits can be difficult but never would imagine they could be near impossible. You basically scratch-built most of the model and I can't express my admiration enough for your abilities and perseverance.
