Re: Stirling undercarriage controls
Hi Mary
I'll provide some raw information but it may need interpreting - also it is only for the MkIII and MKIV but the earlier marks may be the same or similar.
I hope it all helps!

Re: Have you Seen AP1660 (and other APs)?
Hi Dave ebay is a good source of Aircraft Publications, The National Archives has part of AP1660 for MkI and MkII Stirlings. I got mine from a Dutch guy at: http://www.stirling.box.nl/ Search the page for a link - I can't give you a direct URL. It's for the MkIII and MkIV Stirlings (Which is a shame...

Have you Seen AP1660 (and other APs)?
Hi All For all the modelling you do is AP1660 any help to you? basically it is the Haynes Manual for the Stirling Bomber - sample pic attached. Very few dimensioned drawings but loads of detail in 3D drawings (probably scale drawings though). Have attached a sample! Anyway - I think that each Britis...

Re: R A Cruikshank - 7 Squadron Stirling crew help needed.
Hi Just a correction - All the crew survived the crash at Stambourne - it was a month later that they were all killed, the Pilot having married just a week before - in that crash the aircraft landed up on its back. Perhaps the Author is confusing the two. I've spoken to a Stambourne resident whose M...

Stirling Bomb Doors Closing - Video
Hi All
I've found some video of the Stirlings Bomb Doors closing - it's 58 seconds into this Canadian Film
http://www.nfb.ca/film/Wings_on_Her_Shoulder/
Not much of a post I guess but someone may be interested, I was!

Re: Stirling Aircraft Project - Engineering help needed
Hi John No problem, I've just seen a post where someone has the aircraft circuit diagrams I do hope that they are made available! The post is quite old. Have you considered 'animating' the finished cockpit at all? It would be perfectly possible to have the cockpit 'work' using some electronics/compu...
