Not sure if this is allowed (please delete if not), but I thought some members might like to see these. They are not mine by the way... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/a-photo-RAF-Short-Stirling-crash-US-Base-/390274368221?pt=UK_Collectables_Militaria_LE&hash=item5ade2a42dd http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/b-photo-R...

1/32nd Scale Bombers?
Wing Scale have just released details of a 1/32nd scale B-17, hot on the heels of their B-25. I wonder if they have plans for a Stirling, Lanc or Hallibag?

Re: The Stirling - pros and cons
I'm not as au fait with the Stirling as I am with the Lancaster, but from that great photo David, it looks as though the leg was reversible. IE that the one leg could be used on either the inner or outer side, the 'lug' the joint is affixed to being replicated on the opposite side.

I thought a 109 fairly quickly, but was a bit baffled by the 'white 11'.

Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 3
I think you might be fooling us!! The underwing radiators are too shallow for a Spitfire i think, so first thought of something completely different. Then I wondered about a Spiteful or Seafang. But in thinking, I'll go with my first thought of something like a captured Me109.
