AlanW, many thanks for posting the info on the stirling LK 432, we did not know his a/c designation. I did notice I had flt lt Hannah's initial wrong thanks to your post..

Could anyone please help? I am researching a casualty of D Day who was in 7th Batt, Parachute Regiment who flew from Fairford on 5 June 1944 to France. Thanks for putting these details up, I had heard that this was perhaps going to happen but didn't know that we could apply now.
