Peacefully last Sunday morning - not long after receiving his "clasp".

Amazing fellow - absolutely bright as a button - could chat for ages and never miss a beat nor repeat himself.

Sad to hear of the passing of Wg Cdr Ken Wallis. I had often seen him flying from his home strip close to Rymeston while I was attempting to play golf at the neighbouring course.
On 29 September the flying club at Old Buckenham are holding an event to celebrate his life, see link. http://www.oldbuck.com/en/events/a-cele ... allis-mbe/
I believe his collection of is going to the museum at Flixton.
