Remembrance Sunday is coming up.
With my interest in family history, I always try to think of those who's lives were lost, that I know were associated with my family.
It's a diverse list, and it contains an unexpected member.
They all died young and in the service of their countries, and all left heart-broken, ordinary families behind, who never wanted to go to war.
I have researched each one of them over many years, I feel that I knew them all personally.
I will remember them, and all those, friend and foe, who sacrificed their futures, in wars that were forced upon them by the ambitions of so few.
I will remember them
I will remember them

"The purpose of life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave with a well-preserved body, but rather to Slide in Sideways, completely used up, yelling and screaming, what a ride!" anon.
