Thank you Dad x

My father died this morning at 8am. Another genuine veteran passes on. God bless you Dad, I am so very thankful for what you and your generation did for us in 39/45. Rest in peace, reunited with those you loved. Thank you for the memories. :'-(

Dear Guy,
On behalf of all the forum members, please accept our deepest sympathies for the loss of your father, Flight Lieutenant Barry Massey.
His efforts, along with all those who served Bomber Command will always be remembered.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.
Yours sincerely,
John

Thank you so much for your kind words and for posting the coloured picture. That was taken in 1943 at RAF Chedburgh when he was a P/O. He had become a Flight Lieutenant by the war's end. Bless you Dad... So proud of you.
