Canadian Honours

There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

Finally, a government that is paying the due respect to these ex crews .................. great stuff. We can only hope that other allied governments follow suit.
Unfortunately, I think the British government let their opportunity pass by when the Bomber Command Memorial was built & opened by her Majesty, the Queen.

Regrettably, one can only assume that with our current government having it's head in the sand over everyday issues of governance, any foreseeable recognition for the ex RAAF crews is stretching one's imagination to the fullest ............and them some.

Thanks for making us aware, Alan.
Cheers,
John
