It appears that the old Dorset Dinosaur is turning 65 today. Happy Birthday, Max. Have a great day. Hope the weather is fine enough for a round of golf or a spin on the bike. Cheers mate as I drink my bottle of Boag's.

Many Happy returns, Max

Oh, I put my post up without looking at the forum ................... now of course, I've noticed that Kerry too, has acknowledged Max's Birthday, so I'll try to merge both post ( never done this before )
the trouble you go to for some people :D

Kerry, I've also just noticed that our dear friend, Max .................. is officially retired, put out to pasture ............ all that kind of thing!
Probably means that he will better his handicap in golf. ( the older I'm getting, the less I play and the further my handicap is blown out )
Anyway, at least the 'Birthday Boy' is having a win.

Thank you chaps, I've had a lovely day in the Dorset sunshine walking the hills of our green and pleasant land, ending up at a local airfield for coffee and cake and watching a Tiger Moth start up and take off. Not quite the Lanc, Spit or Hurricane of last week but still easy on the eyes and ears! And the "dinosaur" still managed a 7 mile walk without too much effort!

Huh... just a kid!! How about a picture dear boy to remind me what a sixty five year old looks like? Have you got your bus pass - I think they are great value - but do you know I got challenged the other week - they thought I had stolen it off a pensioner!! The sauce!

That would really have worn out the wheels on your walking frame.

Cheeky!! I get enough flak from David with my Aussie "friends" adding to it!

The pensioner-abuser wanted some pics, happy to oblige:

These are hills dear boy, they add character to a landscape though coming from the wild flat wastes of Norfolk you wouldn't recognise them.

Hey hey, happy birthday Max, sorry I'm a week late but then you wouldn't expect anything else! Sounds like you had a great day. My shout for the next coffee and cake - when are you off to Africa?

Cheers,

Richard
