Help required if possible

If anyone could shed any light on these parts, it would be gratefully appreciated. The latch, has the following stamped on it...

MK III
11/A
VAD
3145
Anything at all, would be a great help. Trying to establish identity of aircraft, whether a Hali or a Lanc. If it's a Lanc, then it would be like all my Christmas's have come at once. Will try to get more images of other parts if possible. Would the "C.Y" on the mushroom shaped piece, refer to Coventry perhaps, as it's place of manufacture.
Just added some more with descriptions of markings on them

I can't help much with part numbers, I lost my list when the old PC died.
I know R3 = Avro
683 = Lancaster

Trying to establish the identity of an aircraft crash site, which may possibly be that of 61sqdn Lancaster W5000, which was lost on night of 2/3rd Aug 43. Five aircraft were lost without trace that night, three Hali's and two Lancs. Can discount the other Lanc, as it was a MK II, with radials, as engine parts recovered suggest RR Merlin. Unfortunately, none of he Hali's were Hercules powered, so cannot discount them as yet. The parts shown, weresurface fragments found by a local in Germany, and brought back to UK by nephew of one of the aircrew lost on W5000. I've asked him to contact the chap in Germany, to look over the larger parts he has, for any other serials.
