Just to clarify John's response it's the glider release lever as fitted to Mk IVs and some mk IIIs.

Just for a change, here's a link to our new YouTube account, showing both control columns linked and working in unison; a sight not seen for over 60 years

This was filmed last weekend and has everything temporarily assembled

Fabulous stuff John. It must be really satisfying to see all that hard work come together.

I am a great fan of this project and WILL visit when life lets me escape Devon, had hoped to last month but work dictated otherwise.
Whilst scouring the web for pictures to help with a model I'm building, I came across what appears to be another or competitive restoration and parts hoard... any connection with you? If not maybe a cooperative agreement could be in order!

Yes, that is Martin, another fellow members on our forum. Martin has allowed us to post many photos from his collection on the forum.

Re: The Stirling Aircraft Project
Hi Guy
Martins is a separate flight deck project which he's doing as a one man band, we do co-operate though allowing access to each others artefacts. One of our members is drawing up items that will be of use to us and also for Martin due to the fact that most things on a Stirling flightdeck are duplicated
Look forward to meeting you when you finally manage to escape from Devon
cheers

LOL
It's my thread after all, so acknowledging doesn't really come into it.
We get plenty of support from these here parts
