A pretty early photo - is it in fact a Stirling?? I am inclined to think a Wellington?

Yes I'd say a Wellington too. Got that thing must have been even worse than a conventional turret!

I reckon Dennis would spot the non-Stirling pretty quickly.... only one tailwheel! :D

Yes a Wellington Mk.Ic I think from memory. On the back of the photo it states RAF Mildenhall.
