And of the three the Lancaster, I have been told, was the most difficult from which to exit in a hurry. Perhaps too the Lancaster benefitted from the experience gained from the Halifax and Stirling.

Is it possible that during wartime the different aircraft makers shared information gained from combat experience or that the air ministery gave equally this information. It is well known that Harris had a good relationship with Avro but not with Short´s or could there be economic interest there as well?
