Hi John, paradoxplaza have this one wrong The aircraft in the photo is 158sqdn Halifax MZ759, on ops to Gladbeck, on 24th March 45. See comparison photo below.

Hi all
My Grandad is the navigator/wireless operator in this picture, the same crew had to ditch a plane in the North Sea about six weeks after this crash, unfortunately my grandfather passed away a few weeks ago, (December 2018) he had a good life after the war and lived to the grand old age of 98
