Squadron ORB's micro Film

Post by smudgersmith218 »

Gents,

I have around 20 squadron ORB's of squadrons of No.3 Group on micro film. I have over the past 8 months converted over to CD. Therefore I have a number I need to off load.

I have the following ORB's if anyone would like them please contact me. I don't want anything for them but I will expect postage paid and a small donation to help the heros or a RAF charity.

No.7 / 9 / 15 / / 38 / 39 / 40 / 57 / 75 / 90 / 115 / 138 / 149 / 196 / 199 / 214 / 218 / 311 / 514 / 620 / 622 / 623

PLEASE NOTE : that the ORB covers the 3 GROUP PERIOD only in many cases, some do carry on to other lesser groups !! :D :D

Please contact me stirling218@yahoo.co.uk

Kind regards

Steve

I've 'PM' Steve with the view of picking up these ORB's. The more I / we, can help our members and visitors, the better.
Cheers,
John

Hello,

Yes I agree with John that it is very generous.
Even if it doesn't cover my researches, a question: Did you have to buy a specific apparel to read the micro films?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Bruno / John,

In answer to your question Bruno. About 12 years ago I brought via the old PRO a micro film viewer which was surplice to requirement, i.e it was old. So I did a deal and brought it from them, for three bottles of decent red wine !!!, those were the days ! :D :D

All the ORB’s I originally had were / are on 35mm micro film. Over the past 10 months I have brought via the NA the same ORB’s on CD, all but a few.

The micro film viewer is still going, but alas not for sale. :D

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your reply.
I agree with you to keep the micro film viewer. It must be a rare piece now.
Kind regards.
