According to another online database, this was an "XT" coded 1657 CU aircraft that crash landed at the USAAF base at Rougham, but no dates given.
There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

If a member were to write a book or alike, they are welcome to 'show' it here but are asked to leave off any sale costings, etc. They can be done 'off site' by way of PM.
