Hi All,
I just wanted to touch base to confirm I did join with intention of posting but due to work and family (plus xmas prep), have not had chance to engage yet. I joined this forum about a month ago in the hope of asking members for any advice about finding info or info that may already be available about my Grandfather who flew Stirlings operationally.
To best aid my enquiry, what is the best detail to post to help any wider searches that members may help with? I'm sure I have Sqn number, base name and may have an aircraft serial number from a reported ditching off the welsh coast. I'll ask my folks about his log book over xmas which, if known of, should give plenty of detail. I will update in the new year..........in the mean time, Merry Christmas and New Year everyone.
