General Proctor ?????????????????

Please forgive me for asking this , Ive got a chap working on my behalf in Canada looking for Family leads "RE : the Skipper of AS/X ME 720 -P/O R.B. Ridley RCAF . Now Ive had a request from my contact , wanting INFO of how to obtain InFO regarding General Proctor {BRIT } of the War of 1812 . Can anybody point the finger in the direction of where this particular Info can be found ? . All I know Its a famous battle where the Phil & his harmonica played the Overtura?? . Ok Ok , Im just clowning !! :lol: But does any member know of such info ? Im away now for the Weekend to visit RAF Elsham wolds & Kirmington to pay my respects to 166 SQN & 103 Sqn . IF the weather is Good on Sunday ,there should be the flypast of the LANCASTER . Kind Thanks ,and Hope not upsetting "Top Brass " for Army Post Quiry ! .
