Lincolnshire WW2 vets' memories inspire new film

Post by Nocturna mors »

The memories of Second World War veterans from Lincolnshire have helped to inspire a new film.
Lincoln-based Red Dog Film and East Lindsey District Council are using first-hand recollections of people who lived through the period to shape the production.
The 20-minute drama follows the perilous journey of a seven-man Lancaster bomber crew as they undertake a night time mission across occupied Europe.
It will be premiered at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, at East Kirkby Airfield, on June 28.
