Hello,

the Arbeitsgruppe-Vermisstenforschung-germany found the crashsite from Halifax EB 207 last year in the Eifel-area, near the village Kötterichen / germany.
Halifax EB 207 was shot down by Oblt. Heinz Hadeball from 3./ NJG 6 in his Me 110-nightfighter ( time 22.39 ), on their mission to Mannheim.
All seven crewmembers died by crash in the wooden area.
We met the Hoyle-family ( crewmember= Peter Flower ) in September 2014 in Kötterichen to remember the crew. We also visit the crashsite and found several crashparts from EB 207....
Now in April 2015 we met the Hoyle´s again on crashsite to place a plaque on the crashsite-area.

we remember the EB 207 crew:

P/O William Anderson Hadden
Sgt. Joseph Curran
Sgt. Alexander F. Morris
Sgt. Sydney A. Whitby
Sgt. Peter J. Flower
Sgt. Clifford W. Renwick
Sgt. Archibald Yuill

Hello everyone. I stumbled across this site by accident and I just wanted to thank everyone on behalf of the Curran family in Northern Ireland for the very thoughtful gesture to all the brave men who died.
Sgt J. Curran was my uncle, my fathers brother. If anyone has any photos of the crew and would like to share them I would be eternally grateful.

Hi this is Chris Hoyle, nephew of Sgt Peter Flower. I have just contacted 'Golden68' and offered to send all the information about the last flight of EB207 (my uncle's and his uncle's last flight). None of this would have been possible without the help of Uwe Benkel and his on site colleagues Nico Furhmann and Rene Karassek. They are a truly amazing group of volunteers whose work means so much to the families of those lost in the war. Our family remains indebted to them.
