Hi,
This ex 218 skipper was killed with 460 RAAF Squadron on December 2nd 1943 while attacking Berlin.
I am looking for details on the date he arrived on the squadron, where from and the number of op's he completed with 460 Squadron.
Any help appreciated.

The key document that would reveal all Steve, the A9300 Personnel file hasn't been digitised yet by the NAA, though if you are willing to pay the $16 Australian, or thereabouts, you can have it done as you probably know. His A705, Casualty File is available online but obviuosly doesn't answer your questions. In case you don't have it his service no. is 705122.

Hi Max,
Thanks for the post, I have sent off for the A9300 Personnel file.
If you want a copy, let me know, will send it on.
Kind regards
Steve

Thanks for the offer Steve, but it is outside my particular area of interest. The good point about getting it digitised of course is that the A9300 will be available worldwide to any researchers.
