At the same time Mr Robertson had contacted Glen Turner the NZ Assn. Its not far from the place where we are going in Holland for the dedication of another memorial and on the way to another so we will be meeting Benny the Dutch contact for this memorial. There is a video somewhere which I will try and find and then post that on here.

Visited this site while in Holland the other week. The memorial to this crew is part of a 20km memorial walk which takes in a variety of different types of memorial sites. Well worth a visit if you are in that part of Holland.
Glen met Benny and his wife Rika at the dedication ceremorial for the memorial plaque for another 75 aircraft (a Lancaster) at Kessel. The next day we visited the area of the memorial and were well looked after by Bennys daughter Karin and another of the committee called Egbert. They have plans to add to the memorial walk and there is a big ceremony in 2013. It will take a lot to keep me from that one!!
