According to my files, George was onboard the Stirling III BK170 OJ-'A' of 149 Squadron.

hi earlier in the year i contacted the air crew rememberance society regarding this article
members of the family have since been over to visit the site and lay flowers i received an email regarding this visit [two pics attached ]and have heard that the society is trying to get the plane raised with the backing of prince charles
