Short Stirling & RAF Bomber Command Forum

Hi I am having a model made of my uncles plane a Sterling MkIII of 149 squadron and was wondering if any one can help with the colour of the markings his plane was LK385 and the gent who is making the kit for me thinks the letters are in medium sea grey and the numbers in red can any one help to confirm or correct this. Thank you in advance Martyn
