Hi Gents,
James, the very best footage of a Short Stirling being built in in our files on the forum.
There are a lot of close up images etc. with some great detail.

Great work, James. What a flimsy thing the under-turret was . . .

Thanks Chaps

Here is the turret animated, again all these are just rough tests to make sure things are OK and so onto another section of the aircraft.

This isn't real but it's unlikely that this was ever filmed.

This animation shows what it was like to be a gunner in the FN25. Still loads of work to do on the texturing - but that's for later.

It's very hard to reproduce what you would actually see - It's interesting to note that human eyes can see through more than 180 degrees and in fact the edges of your vision is the shape of a big oval! Your vision is only limited by your skull! So I've widened the field of view to try and get to a human view, agaian getting that closer will be for later.

Really the best part about 3D modelling is the opprotunity to show never before and never again views.

Here the crew have all got out!

Hi John

Thank you! I hope people are enjoying what they see - should be getting better all the time.

I've decided to open her curtains - let some natural light in!

Next will be an animation/pics of the upper skin of the fuselage - there are many more things going on there than the grainy 1940s pics reveal.
