Airfix Lancaster

Post by Dave_Richardson »

I got an email from Airfix today with their latest newsletter. Apparently they are re-releasing the Lancaster kit. It doesn't say it's been re-tooled so I guess it hasn't. They've revamped the box art slightly and made the digital image used (based on the Roy Cross original) available as a desktop wallpaper. Available here:

Hi Dave, one would hope that the powers that be, would put out a 1:48 scale or even better ............... whether to increase sales or whatever. Throw in a Short Stirling and they would be on a winner.

I hope the Lanc is coming into land and not taking off with that engine on fire.
