Very clever disguise, for a Beaufighter
Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 3

I have to do something to try and hold back the experts! To no avail, it seems.I thought a 109 fairly quickly, but was a bit baffled by the 'white 11'.

Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 3
It was the combination of radiator and wheel housing that got it for me, i threw in the Buchon reference just in case it was a trick question.
There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.
Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 3
It was the same for me re wheels and radiators, although I cant think of a case where a Buchon has appeared in RAF colours..
Re: Aircraft Identification Challenge No: 3
I think i'll put the Buchon bit down to a "moment"gate1 wrote:It was the same for me re wheels and radiators, although I cant think of a case where a Buchon has appeared in RAF colours..
