Operation Identification Challenge 102

Post by PAFG »

A fairly muted response last time, but hopefully we're ready for another??!

So - can you identify the Aiming Point and date? Sadly, WAAF Winsum in the photographic section says she may have botched the processing somewhat

Good Luck!

Yikes!!! i hope you're not going to be up for a Court Martial offence, for disregarding orders from an officer :o See "challenges" post in Headquarters forum

It's been viewed at least 46 times to date, looks like you're on a winner here :) I'm still flying around trying to find it, but it's like trying to find an honest person in Parliament

How's about a CLUE or two:

- It's Germany
- 1945
- For the heavies, this was a first (since March 1944) and, for the Command, it was also a last...

...can't light the place up much better than that!!

Richard

PS - if the photo was of just one roof tile it would still be a LOT easier than finding an honest person in Parliament ;)

I can only find one target that fits the description, and it was among the targets looked at earlier but i could'nt match it to google maps, and that is Potsdam, 14/15th April 45.
