I'm tempted by a Lockheed Neptune and Armee de l'air :)
There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

I think it's a Dornier 17E operated by the Condor Legion

Not taking anything away from John L, as he more or less got it, but as John is looking very strict on this one, :o it's a Dornier DO17 E-1, used by 9./KG255. A long way from my "Lockheed Neptune"

I did think about stating that it was an E1 but according to Wiki, some were converted to E2/E3 standard so I erred on the side of caution :)
