Can you name this aircraft type and maker?

PS - I'm not quite sure of the year of build but it has an interesting story to it.

No nosewheel so I'd hazard a guess at a Nord 1000.

Well Cliff (Sabre) has confirmed my initial thoughts (the roundel threw me) that it is in fact a Bf108 Taifun (Aldon in RAF service)
