Operation Identification Challenge 111 - What Date Am I ?

Post by K4KittyCrew »

Right then, here are a couple of images of three targets, raided by the RAF.
All three targets were raided on a given date, as part of a combined operation.

Who can name the targets and most importantly ............. the precise date?
Good luck!

I'll go for 30th October, combined operation by air and land forces. RAF bombed on 30th, and ground troops went in next day, 31st. Of the force of Lancs and Mossies, one Mossie of 627sqdn, was lost, along with it's crew, when a Target Indicator exploded in the bomb bay.

There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

The 3rd of October it is.
Obviously there were a number of operations to these areas over a short period of time.
Thanks for the answers, gents.
