I am producing a booklet (non commercial) for personal use of a friend of one of the navigators on 35 Squadron's "Goodwill Tour" ("Operation Lancaster") and I am trying to find information such as newspaper cuttings, photographs, documents etc which I can incorporate.
I have the squadron ORB's, the photographs on PPRUNE forum and some articles from Flight magazine, but if anyone has anything which they think would be useful and which can be included (properly credited), please could you get in touch.
Any help would be much appreciated
Regards
Pete

Hi Pete, I don't have anything myself that I can add but I'm sure relevant members will pass on details if they have them.
Please keep us posted as to your progress.
Cheers,
John

There is no paralell in warfare, to such courage and determination in the face of danger, over so long a period. Such devotion, should never be forgotten.

Alan my good friend, at our age, we are not only legitimately allowed to make 'oversights' ................. in order not to ruffle the feathers of our fellow seniors, we need to be seen to be obliging and in truth, it is expected.AlanW wrote:K4KittyCrew wrote:Pete, if you haven't already, do a search Operation Lancaster (Goodwill Tour of USA 1946) in goggle 'images' and it will bring up all relelvant details.
