I made it and am getting a good dose of aviation. Been to EK twice and seen the BBMF Lanc fly over both times. Got a tour through "Just Jane" all on my own (because I was last one there on the day). Been to Airshow at Waddington on Saturday, what a great day (more BBMF Lanc) followed by 57/630 association dinner on Sat. Night chatting to some of those who were there at Petwood Hotel then to Service at EK on Sunday meeting more people.... Been to a lot of the old airfields around here as well... Got to Louth too, and Skeggy and Lincoln and still got 2weeks to go.
Max, any chance of catching Richard friday ?

Having a great time, Neale
Great to hear your making the most of it. Trust when you get home, you'll post many photos ( I can help ) .......... Enjoy your time.
Being that it is summer over there, you may need a jumper dear fellow.

Hi John,
If I could work it I would post some now but rest assured I am taking lots of them, and some video with those lovely merlin sounds too. You would have loved the 57/630 Sqn dinner, we stayed at the Petwood the week before and had our dinner in the Squadron bar that night.. Mate the weather has been great, out in shorts and t-shirt last couple of days... Much better than Ballarat. Haha
Cheers, Neale

Heyyyyy !! cheeky, Neale has picked a good time to holiday here. It's so hot here in Cornwall, the ice on the garden pond is melting ha ha ha  . No, seriously, it is absolutley brilliant weather here at the moment, actually too hot for me

Neale - truly sorry to miss you and Brenda on Friday, I'm afraid the day-job got in the way :(

Sounds like you're having a fantastic time, you've picked the best summer weather for ages!

All the best,

Hello again all,
Managed to get to Hendon the other day, wow what a site. Nothing like that in OZ !! Fantastic.
Got to the Bomber Command Memorial in Green Park too, what a wonderful, overdue memorial, at least it was completed.
Now if I can just sneak in a trip to Old Warden before I leave all will be well with the world.

Cheers,
Neale
