Hi John

Help yourself to the picture, I'm feeling much more at home with the Stirling now, in fact I am just doing the curtains........

Incidentally I have found someone who has just sent me a scan he took of the original N6012 crash pics!! Much better quality.

I've also found out that the pilots wife died just last year leaving his medals and 'records' to her granddaughter, sadly I have no way to contact her, yet....

Cheers

Hi All

I've posted some questions regarding parachutes - I also had some questions about Sutton Harnesses. Found the attached in a old Civil Defence pamphlet. It may be of interest to anyone modelling the same as it is a nice clear line drawing.

Thanks James, we can never have enough information about the crews and the mighty Short Stirling!

Hi All

Finally put all the windows in - each insertion being quite tedious! I need to add the curtains for these but that's for later.

Hi John

There are the ammo boxes and the feed tubes and a few bits an pieces to go, but I'm also going to put in the ventral turret even if N6012 didn't have one. Next month I am going to RAFM where the research guys have said that I might be able to measure up their Leigh Light which is mostly FN25 as I understand. So hopefully it should fit and drop the right distance. It will also fill up the fuselage a little.

Radios and SBA left to go before that.

Hi James,

The fuselage is looking great.
I'm impressed, like always :)

Thanks for the update.
