Great to have you back on board, Alan. Hope the Loss Adjustor was kind.
I posted a message on your behalf on your forum, as you will no doubt see.
Cheers,
John

Gradually getting there. Because of the age of the house, the insurers have insisted that it be completely rewired to bring it up to modern specifications, and that should hopefully be done by mid next week. Found a really nice old bone handled penknife under the floor boards whilst taking them up ready for the electrician :) possibly used by whoever put the original wiring in all those years ago. Now awaiting quotes from builders to redo bathroom.

Alan, I glad to hear things are heading in the right direction.
I meant to ask if all your records are intact?
If you lived a bit closer, I could have done your bathroom ............... I've done about 11 this year.
Cheers,
John

I could always ask the Insurance people if they would pay for your flight tickets
By the way, i've got plenty of "Ashes" to pick from if the cricket team want to come and collect them ;)
