Flight "Magazine"

Post by neil40 »

Hello all

Not sure whether to post this here or in Documentation.

I have been sent a copy of a letter from one of the survivors of my Uncle's crew, who wrote to the relatives of one who perished.
In this, he says
'I have just read about Peter in "Flight" the issue of Oct 5th 1944. All the crew are mentioned in it'
Anyone know what this refers to?
Is there an archive I could get a copy?

Thanks for your help

Hi

Isn't the whole of Flight Magazine nicely made available on line here:

https://www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/

From 1909 to 2005? You can search on any words. The October Issue starts here:

Thanks James

That's exactly it.
Mentions my Uncle and his crew in the lists of missing airmen.
