Re: The Stirling Aircraft Project
Nice work John, like all good things, much of the hard work done is never seen by others but the rewards are great for the participant. Keep up the good work buddy.

Hee Hee, it doesn't feel like that sometimes, it can be mightily frustrating

Re: The Stirling Aircraft Project
Talking of bits of aircraft picked up an interesting tidbit on Wings over NZ forum. Apparently there is one going to excavated starting tomorrow in Germany. This is a link to the forum article http://rnzaf.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... read=13171 and the previous one with more information about the aircraft http://rnzaf.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... read=12949 for any interested parties. I have had correspondence with Uwe and he and his team are very careful with these excavations. There is a link to their website on the threads above and I sure you guys will love browsing it if you havent already. Lets hope they get whole chunks out complete. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif)

Re: The Stirling Aircraft Project
No problem Oggie, now that we're away from Wyton access is much easier for all of us. But the PFF museum is worth a visit if only to see our FN5 front turret and the FN7 cupola which we have on loan to them
