Re: ORB's
Hi,
Can anybody help?
I'm trying to locate the East Wretham Station ORBs for June, July & August 1943 as I'm researching the loss of a 115 Squadron Lancaster.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Alan - I think it is you who is on the Facebook Bomber Command group, recommended to me by Chris Keltie.AlanW wrote:Following a request to put my ORB details on the forum, here is my current list (on disc) for some who may need information from them.

I am researching the career of my Uncle William Edwin "Ted" Grantham who was in 61 Squadron with (and on many raids with) Bill North.
My Uncle came from 1661 HCU and whilst I am currently depending on copies of pages from his Navigators Log book, it seems they trained together.
First mention of my Uncle is at No 29 ATU on 3/10/1943 in Wellington BK212
They fly together at 1661 HCU from 4/2/1944 to 12/3/1944 - 14 logs in various Stirlings
They then go to No 5 LFS Syerston from 23/3/1944 to 1/4/1944, presumably for Lancaster conversion?
Finally, on to 61 squadron at Skellingthorpe from 7/4/1944 through to their fateful mission on 7/7/1944 to St Leu d'Esserent (had flown on 5/7 to same target with Bill North)
My question is, how might I get copy of his ORB, particularly his time at No 61?
Thanks for any advice.
Regards
Neil Grantham.

Re: ORB's
Hello
As part of a project to research the names on our village war memorial, I would be very grateful if anyone were able to supply me with copies of the ORB's for 57 Sqn for the period Aug, Sep 1943, and 630 Sqn for the period Dec 1943, Jan-Mar 1944.
Many thanks
Mike
