Hello,

Here are the photos of the graves of one of the two crews of 149 Squadron lost on 6 June 1944 during Operation 'Titanic'.

These grave are at Saint-Manvieu War Cemetery at Cheux near Caen, Calvados, Normandy, France.

Thanks Bruno,
Guess I will have to add this one to an impending research document. It was brought to my attention that, even from the 'Wellington' days, the 149 aircraft coded OJ-M had very bad luck. It was so bad that twice the code letter was unoficially banned. I am working on another at the moment, lost on 23/4th June 1944, again OJ-M. I have been lucky enough to find a contemporary drawing and write up of the raid and crash of this one. BTW, the research project is called, "The Curse of Mother" and will be only 149 Sqn aircraft.
